MISSION STATEMENT The DeKoven Center’s mission is to sponsor and provide for local communities, the upper mid-west, and the nation at large programs and facilities for continuing education, recreation, spiritual reflection, and the cultural arts. All sponsored programs and all facilities are open to the public.STATEMENT OF GOALS The DeKoven Center’s goals are to continue – with nationally-recognized speakers and leaders – the great educational and cultural traditions for which Racine College and The DeKoven Foundation have been known for over 150 years; to preserve, through on-going restoration, the unique quadrangle of the nine National Register buildings; and to provide for the local community and out of state guests facilities for meetings and activities which bridge and unify the ethnic and cultural diversity of our community.
