The DeKoven Center hosts a number of retreats and conferences in Taylor Hall throughout the year. Originally built in 1867 to provide classrooms, libraries, and living quarters for students and Dr. DeKoven, Taylor Hall now offers accommodations and meeting space for a wide variety of groups.

Groups regularly come to DeKoven for their meetings and retreats, and the Taylor Hall calendar is filled almost every weekend. Universites, counseling centers, educational and service organizations, music groups, quilting groups and family reunions also enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of DeKoven which is so conducive to their work and pleasure. Taylor Hall is handicapped accessible, and has a new, well-lighted parking lot.

Other buildings on-site which are available to the public are St. John’s Chapel (popular for weddings), the Great Hall (concerts, receptions, reunions), the gymnasium and the pool. See the Tour page for an overview of the entire DeKoven campus.
