DeKoven’s Second Tuesday Series will feature the Rev. Kevin Goodwin, associate dean of St. James Cathedral, who will share his experiences in Midnight Ministry on the Streets of Chicago.  For many years Father. Kevin made himself present to countless young people who, like Jesus himself, had “nowhere to lay their heads.” 

“What I have learned from these young people continually challenges my faith,” Father Kevin readily admits.  Many of them take to the streets because they feel safer there than any place else - and yet their faith in life, their belief in God, their faith in goodness is truly Spirit-led.”

Second Tuesdays are held in historic Taylor Hall, with Coffee and Conversation at 10:00 and the Meditation at 10:30.  These mornings, offered for fellowship and reflection, are now in their seventh year.  Everyone is cordially invited.  There is no charge, though a free-will offering is appreciated.
