Assembly Hall Restoration

 What hasn’t been seen in 50 years?  The DeKoven Center’s Assembly Hall!  The Assembly Hall has had a major renovation which includes removing the dropped ceiling, new flooring, air-conditioning, handicapped accessibility and a new curtain to divide the space.   Great care was taken to restore the original look of the space, but making it usable in 2012.  WI-Fi will be coming soon as well as a direct access from Taylor Hall the DeKoven Center’s Retreat and Conference Center.

Located on the lakeside of the DeKoven campus, Assembly Hall is an ideal location for gatherings of up to 100 people. Bridal and baby showers are a popular use for this bright and roomy space. It’s also a great contingency site for outdoor wedding ceremonies.

The Assembly Hall rents minimum 3 hour rental. Rental includes round and/or rectangular tables and chairs for up to 100 people. Rates for wedding receptions are available, please call the DeKoven Center office for details.  Table linens and chair covers are available for rent from DeKoven. The hall has two restrooms
available.

For any event that starts or ends after 5pm, or where alcohol is served, the presence of DeKoven staff is required for an extra fee. For wedding receptions and events that have over 75 guests, a licensed caterer is required.

Musical entertainment is also allowed, but must be approved by The DeKoven Center prior to the event.

No balloons or confetti are allowed in the hall, and no tape, nails, tacks or poster putty can be used on the walls. Candles must be in glass enclosures.

The hall is not handicap-accessible and is not air conditioned.
