A Beloved Shared Space

A historic lakeside campus where people gather, learn, celebrate, pray, create, rest, and reflect.

For generations, DeKoven Center has been a beloved shared space where paths cross—neighbors and visitors, retreatants and researchers, worshippers and wedding guests, artists and students, families and friends.

Some come for a weekend. Some come for an afternoon. Others return year after year. Across our historic lakeside campus, people find opportunities to gather, learn, celebrate, create, reflect, and reconnect within this shared space.

However you arrive, there is a place for you at DeKoven.

Come Find a Quiet Corner

Wander the quadrangle, walk the labyrinth, sit beneath the trees, or spend a quiet moment in St. John’s Chapel. There is space here to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.

Gather, Learn, and Grow Together

Retreats, conferences, meetings, and workshops find room to flourish with gathering spaces, overnight accommodations, meals, and peaceful surroundings.

Celebrate Life’s Meaningful Moments

Weddings, reunions, celebrations, and special gatherings find a memorable home among historic halls, gardens, chapels, and lakeside grounds.

Rooted in History, Open to All

DeKoven’s Episcopal heritage continues through a living tradition of hospitality, worship, spiritual growth, and reflection.

Preserving History Where History Was Made

From Racine College and James DeKoven to generations of Episcopal religious life, the Archives preserves stories that reach far beyond campus.

A Place Where Community Comes Together

Concerts, arts and educational programs, seasonal celebrations, partnerships, and gatherings large and small bring people back to DeKoven again and again.
