Self-catering is NOT permitted in the hall. All setup/cleanup etc. will need to be performed by the caterer or staff designated by the renter. The DeKoven Center does NOT provide any food service staff. This includes cutting/setting out deserts, washing dishes and water/coffee service.

Catering service may be booked with preferred caterers at any time. Caterers who are not on our preferred list must be pre-approved by The DeKoven Center Event Manager 90 days prior to booking with the caterer. The caterer must sign the DeKoven caterer’s agreement prior to the event date and provide proof of insurance with 30 days prior to the event. All caters may be responsible for a catering fee and may reflect that charge to the client.

The DeKoven Center is not responsible for any food borne illness. According to the State of Wisconsin restaurant code, HSS 196, all cold foods must be held at 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and all hot foods must be held at 140 degrees or above. The renter or caterer is responsible for maintaining the above food code.
