Board of Directors
A Board of Directors manages the affairs of DeKoven Center, a Wisconsin non-stock corporation and 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity. Committees manage areas of DeKoven Center and may include non-board members. Current committees are Executive, Finance, Governance, Personnel, Property, and Program. Campus activity includes Retreat/Conference Center, St. John’s Chapel, DeKoven Grounds, Affordable Housing, Archives Center, and Athletic Complex.
DeKoven Center’s financial position is solid as reflected in a 2022 CPA audit. Revenue is diversified from a number of sources including event fees (retreats, conferences, weddings), property rental (housing, gym), grants, gifts, and bequests. Segregated funds are established for specific purposes fulfilling donor restrictions. IRS Form 990 is available to the public on request from the Executive Director.
